Update: SaskPower continues to respond to outages in the southeast

SaskPower is responding to a number of power outages in the southeast region.

The Crown corporation said at 12:41 p.m. that power had been restored in north Estevan, but there are other outages.

Its media relations department says there have also been outages reported in the Hitchcock, Macoun and Midale areas.

There is no estimated time of power restoration as of yet.

There is also an emergency outage from Hirsch to the U.S. border, as crews are replacing broken power poles. Power is projected to be restored at 3 p.m. 

The Mercury will have more details as they become available.
