Update: Severe thunderstorm watch lifted for Estevan area, remains in effect for Carlyle region

Update: a pair of advisories have been lifted in the Estevan area. 

The first is the special weather statement for the heat in the southeast. It was issued Friday morning, and was lifted at 2:49 p.m. Saturday, even though temperatures were above 30 C at the time.

It was never upgraded to a heat warning.

The other advisory was a severe thunderstorm watch. It went into effect at 1:52 p.m. Saturday, but was lifted for the Estevan area a short time later at 3:27 p.m. It remains in effect for the Carlyle area.
