Travis Patron will be part of the all-candidates’ forum in Estevan after all.

Patron is originally from the Redvers area and is not only the candidate for the Canadian Nationalist Party in Souris-Moose Mountain, but he’s also the party’s leader.

He was originally scheduled to participate in the Estevan forum, which will be hosted by the Estevan Chamber of Commerce on Thursday evening starting at 7 p.m. at the Royal Canadian Legion.

In an email sent out Monday, Patron said he appreciated the invitation and consideration the party received. However, he believes both the format and type of event will not be productive for the party at the time.

But he has since changed his mind, and will be involved.

Four other candidates have confirmed they will participate: Robert Kitchen of the Conservative Party, Judy Mergel of the Green Party, Phillip Zajac of the People’s Party of Canada and (?) Hicks of the New Democratic Party.

Liberal candidate Javin Ames-Sinclair has yet to confirm his participation.
