Update: Another storm rolls through Estevan early Sunday

For the second straight night, a severe thunderstorm warning was issued by Environment Canada for the Estevan region during the overnight hours. The warning was issued for Estevan at 12:06 a.m. Sunday, and continued until 1:08 a.m.

For the second straight night, a severe thunderstorm warning was issued by Environment Canada for the Estevan region during the overnight hours. 

The warning was issued for Estevan at 12:06 a.m. Sunday, and continued until 1:08 a.m. A thunderstorm hit Estevan after midnight and brought sustained rain to the city. Winds gusts peaked at 59 kilometres per hour early on Sunday. 

Both the Estevan and Carlyle regions were also under severe thunderstorm watches that were issued at 9:43 p.m. Saturday. Estevan's watch was lifted at 2:33 a.m. Sunday, while Carlyle's ended at 3:22 a.m. 

Estevan has received multiple storms during the past week, bringing some much-needed precipitation to the region.
