Cheers and Jeers for Feb. 22

Cheers: Cheers to St. Giles’ Anglican Church for the hard work they do at the Power Dodge Estevan Bruins games. Cheers to all those men and women who travelled to Ottaa to help make a stand for what’s right for hard-working Canadians.

Cheers to St. Giles’ Anglican Church for the hard work they do at the Power Dodge Estevan Bruins games.

Cheers to all those men and women who travelled to Ottaa to help make a stand for what’s right for hard-working Canadians.

Cheers to the organizers of the events that happened in Estevan on Family Day. It was nice to have activities that were perfect for families.

Cheers to the members of the Estevan Fire Rescue Service who spent the day battling a fire in north Estevan despite the frigid temperatures.

Cheers to Estevan Humane Society for organizing a fun night out with great entertainment at the Whiskers and Wine Gala.

Jeers:

Jeers to local restaurant that smells like sewer, and where the waitresses go out of their way to cater to their regulars and make the average patron feel extremely unwelcome.

Jeers to the people who are continuously parking in the handicapped parking spots at Affinity Place. Also, jeers to not properly marking these spaces and to not enforcing the parking spots.

Jeers to how the center line on King Street seems to get wider every time it snows. The line is the same width; people need to drive accordingly.

Jeers to motorists who think people who cross the road should run on ice. Somebody could get hurt trying to cross so fast.

Jeers to people who don’t get along with others. Life is too short. They are better off getting along with each other.
