Cheers and Jeers for May 10

Cheers: Cheers to everyone who was involved with Savour the Southeast this year, for organizing a fun night that introduces people to so many restaurants and beverages.

Cheers:

Cheers to everyone who was involved with Savour the Southeast this year, for organizing a fun night that introduces people to so many restaurants and beverages.

Cheers to Hillcrest School for the decision to name their library after Rose Davenport. She touched so many young people when she was at the school.

Cheers to the organizers of the Natural Health and Healing Expo. It helps out a lot of people, and it’s a good source of information.

Cheers to the residents of Estevan for their patience with the current over-policing and excessive check stops.

Cheers to the St. Joseph’s Health Care Auxiliary for the efforts to purchase equipment for the hospital, and their willingness to reach out to the patients of the hospital.

Jeers:

Jeers to the condition of the access road for the Woodlawn Regional Park’s Souris River campground. It’s not a good first impression with all of the potholes.

Jeers to waiting for an extended period of time at a hospital for someone who had a painful infection, and not being able to see a doctor.

Jeers to those who post the location of check stops on social media. The police are doing them to stop impaired drivers. Don’t give those who drive while impaired some unnecessary assistance.

Jeers to those who have been holding noisy house parties. There’s nothing wrong with having a good time, but you don’t have to disrupt everyone else in the neighbourhood.
