Cheers to the Estevan Ministerial Association for supplying a thank you breakfast for the Estevan first responders recently.

Cheers to the Estevan Ministerial Association for supplying a thank you breakfast for the Estevan first responders recently.

Cheers to Marian Harper and her crew for all of the work they put into the Bienfait Lions Community Theatre for Dwight Thompson.

Cheers to St. Joseph’s Hospital for the events that were organized to celebrate the hospital’s 80th anniversary.

Cheers to having a local artist on display at the Estevan Art Gallery and Museum. The photos of Byron Fichter look great.

Cheers to everybody who tossed a teddy bear or a stuffed animal onto the ice for the Power Dodge Estevan Bruins Teddy Bear Toss last week.

Jeers to a person who recently stole Christmas lights. People take pride in decorating their house, only to have someone try to ruin their Christmas.

Jeers to people who do not properly remove snow. They pile it on the street from their driveway and do not clear the sidewalks. The bylaw enforcement officer needs to pay more attention to this issue.

Jeers to the driver of a white vehicle who drove through the intersection of Fourth Street and Fourth Avenue last week, even though a pedestrian was in the middle of the intersection. Time to learn who has right of way.

Jeers to homeowners who haven’t trimmed their tree branches and shrubs. They create a problem in the back alleys.

Jeers to those who seemed intent on causing accidents in town by driving too aggressively after all of the freezing rain this week.
