Cheers and Jeers for Nov. 8

Cheers: Cheers to Travis at Henders Drugs for great customer service. His attentiveness to one patient and her prescription needs is very much appreciated. Cheers to the Estevan Emergency Medical Services for their haunted ambulance on Halloween.

Cheers to Travis at Henders Drugs for great customer service. His attentiveness to one patient and her prescription needs is very much appreciated.

Cheers to the Estevan Emergency Medical Services for their haunted ambulance on Halloween. It was fun to see the staff members out having fun with the kids.

Cheers to the return of the Estevan Police Service’s youth nights. They’re a great way to have the local police officers out interacting with the kids.

Cheers to the four-way stop that is now located at Souris Avenue North and Eighth Street. It will be safer for motorists and pedestrians, especially after hockey games and big events.

Cheers to Craig Bird and everyone else involved with the Southeast Military Museum. It’s nice to see a place where all of this military history is on display.

Jeers:

Jeers to all the people who let their kids run around Affinity Place, yelling and screaming while parents watch the game or tend to other activities. Other people have to deal with these kids being annoying.

Jeers to people who park in the designated staff parking at Affinity Place and the Leisure Centre. People who park illegally deserve to get a nice, fat parking ticket.

Jeers to drivers who weren’t being smart around the icy intersections in the community. Ease up on the aggressive driving, and just be smart out there.

Jeers to the guy who uses a leaf blower to rid the two centimetres of snow from his driveway, on the same street where two women were able to shovel their two-car driveways in a quarter of the time. The leaf blower could wake the dead and was not environmentally friendly.
