Cheers and Jeers for Sept. 20

Cheers: Cheers to the Estevan Arts Council’s Koncerts for Kids series for bringing the Missoula Children’s Theatre to Estevan each year. It gives the kids a great chance to be on stage and perform for a big crowd. Cheers to the St.

Cheers:

Cheers to the Estevan Arts Council’s Koncerts for Kids series for bringing the Missoula Children’s Theatre to Estevan each year. It gives the kids a great chance to be on stage and perform for a big crowd.

Cheers to the St. Joseph’s Hospital Foundation for running the Ladies Night on the weekend. It was a fun night out and a chance to bring back the great ‘90s fashions.

Cheers to the gentleman who gave a complete stranger a ride home during the thunderstorm on Tuesday night.

Cheers to those who organized the ceremony to mark the anniversary of the 1946 plane crash south of Estevan. It’s good to see more awareness about this historical moment in the community.

Cheers to the Southern Plains Co-op for running their annual Fuel Good Day, and supporting good causes in the southeast region.

Jeers:

Jeers to those responsible for allowing the 605 grid road that runs from northeast of Bienfait to Lampman to deteriorate to its current condition.

Jeers to cat owners who don’t keep their cats at home. The rest of the public is tired of cleaning up yards after these cats. And they scare away the birds.

Jeers to those who have been ragging on the Estevan Bruins for their new road uniforms. It’s how the team plays, not what they’re wearing, that matters. And it’s not like they’re wearing those uniforms at home.

Jeers to those who have campers in their driveways that block the sidewalks. The sidewalk is not an overflow for your driveway. Think of others and put the RVs in storage.
