The editor:

I recently attended Estevan to participate in three events, to talk about something that concerns many people, something that I feel passionately about – anxiety.

My book, Anxiety: Calming the Chaos Within, was the focus of three presentations in early May, at Trinity Lutheran Church, the Estevan Natural Health and Healing Expo, and Estevan Public Library.

I want to thank everyone for such a warm welcome. I was so touched by, and appreciative of the hard work and enthusiasm demonstrated by the organizers of all three events.

If it weren’t for you, I would not have made valuable connections with many people who suffer with anxiety – often in silence. I was able to share my belief that you are never stuck with anxiety, and that there are many strategies to help you deal with it.

I want to make special mention of Henders Drugs. They accepted my book into their store without question, with great generosity and invaluable support. This rarely happens in the world of books. One Henders employee said to me, “Sometimes you just need to be of service to the community.” Wow! I hope that they are justly rewarded for their kindness.

Thanks, Estevan, for welcoming me home.
