Assiniboia’s promised storms for Saturday started to materialize at approximately 6 p.m. followed by a hailstorm a half hour later at 6:30 p.m.
Much of Centre Street was covered in rain and hail as cars tried to navigate through the town on Saturday, July 4.
By 6:40 p.m. the storm had dissipated into a light rainfall, although more storms were predicted for late Saturday evening and overnight.
