Estevan Police Service invited the community over for a great day full of activities and entertainment. The station was open for tourists, who could learn all about the world of policing, check out the cells, met police canine Max, have a pick at the shooting range and much more. Estevan Fire Rescue Services, RCMP, EMS, SGI and Southeast Newcomer Services joined the event. Kids with painted faces and balloons in their hands could have their fingerprints taken, tour fire truck, ambulances, police and RCMP vehicles, and interact with funny and smart SGI bucklebot. EPS members cooked barbecue launch and Southeast Newcomer Services members had cotton candy and popcorn for guests. Parents were patiently waiting in front of the bouncy castle, while kids were enjoying their time. The next edition of the Mercury will have more on the event.
