Estevan community took advantage of an opportunity to have outdoor fun in indoor settings as the Power Dodge Curling Centre turned into practice biking grounds on Saturday. The Estevan Police Service and the Estevan Public Library joined their efforts to put together a fun family event. The EPS officers and MADD volunteers taught young visitors the rules of safe biking, while the library had their summer reading program registration forms out. They also brought some of their interactive stands for the smallest guests. Mr. Mike's supplied the guests with delicious barbecue. Next week’s edition of Mercury will have more on the event.
