If you heard the sirens or saw the police and fire trucks’ lights around the Churchill Playpark Thursday morning don’t worry, there was no accident, fire or drug bust. It’s the City of Estevan playparks program making sure that the community is having fun during summer. The city threw a free superheroes pancake breakfast with a lot of games and prizes for kids. The Estevan Police Service and he Estevan Fire Rescue Services brought their trucks out and let the young guests explore the equipment and even honk the horn. Despite the cloudy weather a lot of people enjoyed the opportunity to socialize and spend great time out in the community.
