The Nipawin Hawks got a measure of revenge against the Power Dodge Estevan Bruins for the Bruins' win Saturday with their own win Tuesday at Nipawin's Centennial Arena.

The Hawks won 2-0 on the strong play of goaltender Connor Hobbs, who surrendered four goals to the Bruins at Affinity Place on the weekend.

He made 39 saves in the Hawks net to earn the victory and the shutout.

The Bruins weren't able to get any goals but goaltender Grant Boldt stopped 25 shots in the loss, allowed only one goal. The Hawks' second goal was scored with the net empty for the extra attacker.

The game is the Bruins' first of four in the Sherwood Division this week. They'll be in Flin Flon Wednesday night, La Ronge Friday night and conclude the trip in Melfort Saturday night.
