The Bruins presented a cheque for $2,640.75 to the Kidsport committee. The money was raised through the goals the Bruins scored in the 2017-18 regular season.

For every home team goal scored during the Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League regular season, $20 is donated to KidSport, with a maximum of 1,000 goals. Mid-City Plumbing & Heating is donating $5 for each Bruins home goal all season. To date the Bruins have contributed more than $10,000 to their local KidSport chapter through this program.
