Former Bruin Guilderson commits to UVic

Former Estevan Bruin Hayden Guilderson has committed to the University of Victoria Vikes for the 2018-19 season.

Guilderson, originally from Chilliwack, B.C., spent two seasons with the Bruins, culminating in a 22 goal, 39 assist campaign for 61 points over 58 games while collecting 99 penalty minutes. During his time with the Bruins he didn’t miss a single regular season game, although he did miss some time in the playoffs with a head injury.

Even though he did miss time in the playoffs he still managed six goals and eight assists for 14 points over 12 games in helping the Bruins to the Canalta Cup final against Nipawin.

He came to the Bruins after spending 2017-18 with the Abbotsford Pilots of the Pacific International Junior Hockey League scoring 13 goals and 38 assists for 51 points in 40 games.

He ended his Bruin career with a total of 33 goals and 63 assists for 96 points in 116 regular season games.
