The first round of the Frametech Classic is in the books and the championship flight has been sorted out at the TS&M Woodlawn Golf Course.
A lot of familiar names will be on the flight, but the top round of the first day Saturdaywent to Rick Hallberg’s 65. He was five strokes better than second place Marshall Bakken (70).
Then, last year’s horse race champion Daryl Donovan, Carson Harcourt and Cody Reynolds were tied at 71, and Nolan Rohatyn, Brendon Grube and Jeff Ward each had 72. Anthony Melle carded a 73, and the flight is rounded off by Carter Holkewich, Kris Labatt and Mark Spencer, who each had 74.
The second round of golf gets underway at about 7:30 a.m. Sunday morning, with the Dave Price Memorial Horse Race starting at 3 p.m.
The third and final round is scheduled for Monday.
