The selection camp lists were released Monday and despite there not being any Power Dodge Estevan Bruins players on the Team West selection camp, Bruins head coach and general manager Chris Lewgood will be an assistant coach on the team, which has 44 players on teams from Manitoba to British Columbia at the camp.

Additionally, Lampman’s Nigel Dube will be a guest coach at the selection camp. He is currently the head coach and general manager of the Lloydminster Bobcats of the Alberta Junior Hockey League.

Estevan’s Hailee Dayman will be the team’s athletic therapist. She is currently the athletic therapist and equipment manager for the Manitoba Junior Hockey League’s Virden Oil Capitals.

At the Dec. 3-5 selection camp in Calgary, the number of players invited will be whittled down to 22 in time for the tournament. After the selection camp, Canada West will play the United States Dec. 9 at the R.J. Lalonde Arena in Bonnyville.
