Estevan Minor Football hands out its year-end awards

Penta Completions Estevan Minor Football wrapped up its 2019 season with its annual general meeting and awards banquet Tuesday night at the Estevan Elks Lodge. Each of the three teams presented several recognitions.

Each of the three teams presented several recognitions. Award winners for the U10 Power Dodge Cudas were:

  • Team MVPs: Dane Tober and TJ Thompson;
  • Offensive Player MVPs: Jack Holden and Dexter Ciepliski;
  • Defensive Player MVPs: Mason Lesy and Max Froese;
  • Most Improved Players: Beckham Sernick and Brody Hogg;
  • Best Sportsmanship: Ava Mainprize and Damion Seymour
  • Canuckcade Most Determined Player: Jack Holden

The winners for the U12 Century 21 Border Real Estate Chargers were:

  • Team MVP: Cooper Pukas
  • Offensive Player MVP: Peyton Tendler
  • Defensive Player MVP: Payton Klyne
  • Most Improved Player: Hayden Miller
  • Best Sportsmanship: Connor Mercer
  • Driven Distribution Inc. Most Determined Player: Kalib Roy

The award winners for the U14 Estevan Lions Club Oilers were:         

  • Team MVP: Thomas Harrison
  • Offensive Player MVP: Dorian Sifton
  • Defensive Player MVPs: Hamisi Kassanga and Talys Brock
  • Most Improved Player: Harrison Froese
  • Best Sportsmanship: Thomas Harrison
  • Bryan Illerbrun Dedication Award: Dorian Sifton         

Also, Doris and James Trobert won the Volunteer Family Award.
