Novice Bearcats second at tournament

The Estevan novice Bearcats had a great showing at a tournament in Bethune on the weekend, finishing second with a 2-1 record. The Bearcats opened the tournament with a 4-0 victory over Regina Blue.

The Estevan novice Bearcats had a great showing at a tournament in Bethune on the weekend, finishing second with a 2-1 record.

The Bearcats opened the tournament with a 4-0 victory over Regina Blue. Bree Poelen led the way with three goals and was named the hustle player of the game. Allie Lainton also scored.

Poelen scored four times in their second game, a 6-1 victory over the Regina White. Hadlee Terrett and Lainton also scored, and Baya Summers was named the hustle play of the game.

The Bearcats were defeated 2-1 in a shootout by Moose Jaw in the A side final. Poelen had the Bearcats lone goal, and Terrett was the hustle player of the game.
