Logan Martinson, Eric Bollefer and Bradley Tomiski had the goals for Midale.

The Bienfait Coalers defeated the Arcola-Kisbey Combines 7-5 that night as well, but the result was later overturned and declared a forfeit victory for Arcola-Kisbey because the Coalers played the game with an illegal roster.

Bienfait’s goal scorers won’t be registered, but Arcola-Kisbey’s will. Lucas Hislop had a hat trick for the Combines, while Carter Bonokoski and Duane Hislop also scored.

The Coalers recovered to defeat the Carlyle Cougars 9-6 on Nov. 5, thanks to four-goal outbursts in each of the first and third periods. Wyatt Garagan had three goals for Bienfait. Keegan Malaryk, Daniel Wanner, Dylan Lay, Blaine Herzberg, Dallas Kickley and Dylan Herzberg also scored.

The final three Bienfait goals were scored in the second half of the third, and came after Carlyle had rattled off three unanswered goals to tie the game at sixes.

Dakota Rose and Brett Turgeon each scored twice for Carlyle. Cooper Fox and Sam Matthewson had Carlyle’s other goals.

Several games are scheduled for the upcoming week. Arcola-Kisbey will visit Carlyle, and the Redvers Rockets will be at Midale on Nov. 8. The Combines visit the Wawota Flyers, and Carnduff is at Redvers on Nov. 9. Those games start at 8 p.m.

Midale will visit the defending champions the Yellow Grass Wheat Kings on Nov. 10 at 7 p.m.
