Four southeast residents will be part of Team Sask. at Canada Winter Games

Four people from the southeast corner of the province have been selected to be part of Team Saskatchewan for the upcoming Canada Winter Games.

Four people from the southeast corner of the province have been selected to be part of Team Saskatchewan for the upcoming Canada Winter Games.

Hunter Chipley was selected to compete in archery, while Monai Wanner will be the manager of the archery entry. Sheila Guenther is part of the mission staff for Team Saskatchewan.

Sherman Brown of Carievale is a coach on the archery team as well.

The Canada Winter Games will take place from Feb. 15-March 3 in Red Deer, Alta. Team Saskatchewan will have 215 athletes, 72 coaches, managers and technical staff, and 24 mission staff at the event. Fifty-eight communities are represented on Team Saskatchewan. 

The full roster for Team Saskatchewan was announced Thursday in Regina.
