It was a night to remember for Oxbow’s Tanner Jeannot on Tuesday night.

Jeannot, who played his minor hockey in southeast Saskatchewan until his second season of U18 hockey, made his NHL debut for the Nashville Predators in Nashville’s 4-2 loss to the Carolina Hurricanes.

A 23-year-old winger, Jeannot played six minutes and 28 seconds for the Preds.

He was recalled by the Predators on Monday from the American Hockey League’s Chicago Wolves, and assigned to the Predators taxi squad. While playing for the Wolves, Jeannot had three goals and eight assists in six games to start the season.
