The first of the ticket packages have been made available for curling’s Home Hardware Canada Cup, which will be held Dec. 5-9 at Affinity Place.
There are 1,000 full event ticket packages available for the event, which will have seven of the top men’s teams and seven of the top women’s teams competing for one of the first spots in Olympic qualifying. Thursday morning, ticket sales went live from their website.
There is going to be $140,000 in the kitty for the curlers as well as a berth in the 2021 Road to the Roar Pre-trials event. The high stakes of the event are sure to bring out the best in this country’s curlers, including a few teams that have juggled rosters since the last run of Olympic qualifying.
Packages will include tickets for all 13 draws, including playoffs and tiebreakers, will be sold for $249.50 each, plus any applicable service charges.
The event’s website at www.curling.ca/2018canadacup has been set up, and volunteer signup will be starting from there with dates to be announced.
