Two southeast hockey players taken in WHL bantam draft

Two members of the Estevan TS&M bantam AA Bruins were selected in today's Western Hockey League Bantam Draft. Goaltender Zane Winter of Carlyle was chosen in the eighth round, 160th overall by the Red Deer Rebels.

Two members of the Estevan TS&M bantam AA Bruins were selected in today's Western Hockey League Bantam Draft.

Goaltender Zane Winter of Carlyle was chosen in the eighth round, 160th overall by the Red Deer Rebels. Winter posted a 6-12-3 record with a 3.44 goals against average in 23 regular season games for the Bruins last season.

Forward Turner McMillen of Carievale went in the ninth round, 191st overall to the Kelowna Rockets. McMillen had 13 goals and 12 assists for 25 points in 31 regular season games in 2017-18.
