The 2018 Estevan Exhibition CCA Rodeo got underway Friday evening with competition in several events.
The rodeo started off with bareback and novice bareback, as well as saddle bronc and novice saddle bronc before movie to tie down roping, steer wrestling, ladies barrel racing, junior barrel racing and team roping and bull riding.
The rodeo is part of a bigger weekend of similarly themed events. The light horse show will be at 8 a.m. Saturday, with the second day of the rodeo taking place later at 2 p.m.
The kids rodeo is scheduled for Sunday at 9 a.m., the Dirty Dozen Mud Run is next at 10:30 a.m. followed by the ranch rodeo Sunday at 1 p.m.
