For over 60 people, who gathered at TS&M Woodlawn Golf Course on Saturday, the morning started with a nice walk or run. The family-oriented activity, organized by Fresh AR Fitness, brought the community together and helped to raise funds for the free sports facility, which was named one of the top five Saskatchewan outdoor attractions.

This year Run the Course activity has issued a new Community Hero’s challenge, aimed at involving RCMP, Estevan City Police, EMS, Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) and Estevan Fire Rescue Service into the activity. CBSA had 10 members joining the run, which made them the winners of the challenge. RCMP claimed the second spot with eight members participating.

The winner of the Community Hero’s challenge received 70 per cent of all of the five groups' registrations, which they will donate to a charity of their choice.

Sacred Heart School/École Sacré Coeur had four students and one staff participating and won the School Challenge.

Athletes were offered to run or walk up to 10 kilometres through the TS&M Woodlawn Golf Course. After the race, participants could receive free massage and enjoy lunch in a great company.
