ECS leads McLeod Series by one point heading to Weyburn

Down by 19 late in the first half, the Estevan Comprehensive School senior boys Elecs basketball team dug deep and found themselves some momentum, and it was enough to propel them to a 100-98 McLeod Series win over the Weyburn Eagles.

Down by 19 late in the first half, the Estevan Comprehensive School senior boys Elecs basketball team dug deep and found themselves some momentum, and it was enough to propel them to a 100-98 McLeod Series win over the Weyburn Eagles.

The senior girls Elecs lost 80-79 in overtime to the Eagles, meaning the Elecs hold a slim 179-178 lead heading to Weyburn next week.

The Elecs have won the last three series titles.

Both games had incredibly loud fans cheering the teams on from both cities.

The series shifts to Weyburn Tuesday.
