The Estevan Comprehensive School Elecs senior girls basketball team came up one win short of qualifying for the Hoopla provincial basketball tournament.
The Elecs dropped a 48-41 decision to Notre Dame Saturday afternoon in Wilcox. With the win, Notre Dame qualified for the 4A girls Hoopla tournament, which takes place next weekend in Saskatoon.
Estevan had reached the final of the regional qualifier with an 84-62 win over Nipawin on Friday night.
The qualifier in Wilcox was one of four taking place this weekend for the 4A provincial tournament. One team from each qualifier advanced to Hoopla.
