Celebrating 45 years of quality, service, and community at A&A Jewellery

As the only locally owned and operated jewellery store in Estevan, A&A Jewellery cares about its community.

Owner and manager, Laurel Buck, says it is part of the reason A&A Jewellery is still around. “We care about our community and we give back to our community,” she said, “We want to support those who support us.”

Born and raised in Estevan, Buck and her family bought the store in 2006 and just two years later, Buck took over the store from her aunt and uncle. Having always been a distant dream of her parents’ to own a jewellery store, Buck finally decided that it was going to be a fun enough enterprise that it was worth the work. After 45 years of being a part of the Estevan community, with 11 of those years being headed by Buck’s family, A&A Jewellery has proven to be an indispensable part of the town.

“I have grown up here. I know the people and I care about them and our community. This store was built on the honesty and integrity of the former owners, and we continue with that tradition.”

On top of the atmosphere, which Buck is regularly praised for, and the friendly service, it is the quality of the product, whether it be diamonds or gem stones, that makes A&A Jewellery stand out. With an extensive list of popular jewellery brands, a large selection of watches and a showcase featuring unique gift items, A&A Jewellery sells everything from wedding bands to gent’s jewellery and time pieces.

Buck, who was previously a social worker, says she has always loved jewellery and gem stones. From a young age, you would often find her polishing rocks and precious stones in her free time. She continues to bring her love for jewellery to her store, and it is obvious in the products she carries and the care she willingly gives to each customer who walks through the door.
